Many have heard about meditation, though many don’t practice it. Do you think it’s too much effort? Might help some, but just not for you? Think it’s just an Eastern culture mojo thing? Perhaps you are waiting for more scientific facts to prove it is worth the effort? Well good news! Scientific medical research over the past 10 years has begun to show how meditation may have some very scientific applications as their studies observe changes in the brain and has improved mental and physical wellbeing of meditative individuals.

Learning how to get inner peace of mind is possible for anyone. It doesn’t matter if you have a violent past that you can’t seem to shake, or a tragic history that has been haunting you for years. Who you were has nothing to do with who you can be. Are you having negative thoughts about your present or future? These can be overcome as well. I'm going to share with you 3 simple steps on how to get inner peace of mind. How important is it for you to balance your work and family life? If it isn’t important, I can guarantee you will not be able to maintain the balance you want. Effectively balancing work and family life can seem like a see-saw, but like a see-saw, with some effort you can maintain balance successfully. Have you ever watched someone discuss something that they were really passionate about? They are extremely enthused, happy, motivated and energized. Have you been able to find what you are passionate about or believe it is something limited to select individuals? Have you envied those who are passionate about their work? Hobbies? Causes? Interests? Especially if they stepped out and are successfully creating income and enjoying their passion at the same time? You are not alone, many individuals believe that they will have a miraculous ‘aha’ moment and a lightning bolt of passionate energy will strike them out of the blue. This is not the case. If you lose your perspective of your personal goal, eventually, you reach a point of confusion. Nothing makes sense. 'Who set this goal?' You lost track of your goal! Exhaustion and frustration may set in. You lose your momentum and start to doubt yourself. Stop right there! You are not alone, so don't give up! It is difficult to maintain your focus on your set personal goals due to seemingly helpful advice from others. You get distracted by their perspectives of what, how, why, when, or where your goal achievement should be obtained. You may have a momentary boost of motivation from their suggestions but your personal goal strategy, shifts with their new perspective. I began reflecting about decisions, lessons learned, and about living life. There are many paths you can choose to take in life. There are long and short paths; rocky and clear paths; crooked and straight paths. You will find many paths as you journey through life. Just like any path, there are corners, detours, and crossroads, less traveled paths in life. Perhaps the most perplexing paths that you will encounter are the crossroads and the path less traveled. With four paths to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they will lead you, which path will you take? What is the guarantee that you will choose the right one? Will you take any path to keep moving or just decide to stay where you are out of indecision? If the path seems to disappear, will you give up and turn around? Will you clear your own path and proceed forward? |
