![]() In today's society many are quick to place blame or make excuses when faced with a dilemma or crisis. Finger pointing has always been a mainstream past time not just for children but for adults too. This has been occurring for centuries but does that mean it is out of our own control? No! This need to find a scapegoat or excuse to place blame upon, is not just focused on your own individual ego. You see it played out amongst groups, companies, organizations, cultures, governments and countries. It is applied worldwide! Unfortunately, it is a self-defeating behavior that is programming your subconscious mind and others for failure. The scapegoat mentality is a limiting belief. Your mind will be completely side-tracked with the resolution 'it's not my problem' that you will no longer be motivated to focus and resolve the original crisis, problem, or challenge! The original issue doesn't just disappear, often it will get worse and you have to find another excuse or deal with it before it becomes destructive physiologically or psychologically. Imagine how much more could really be accomplished in this world if everyone stopped making excuses or finger-pointing and focused clearly on resolving the challenges they faced presently. What about in your life specifically? As soon as your ego offers up the suggestion of an excuse...cut it off! Even if the issue or challenge you are facing ‘isn’t your fault’; that’s neither here nor there…that’s in the past. You are facing a present issue today that can be solved. By recognizing it as the excuse it is, you will take control and program yourself to focus on actually finding a solution to the problem at hand. Obviously, in a group situation, everyone needs to be focused on resolving the issue. While you cannot control other minds and limiting beliefs, you can influence them. Do this by setting an example and be willing to negotiate for the best outcome for all involved. It will be a win/win solution when the set goal has been achieved successfully! You have complete control over the choices and decisions you make each and every day. These affect the path you will take through your lifetime on this planet. This path will cross and connect with others paths. Those other paths continue to branch out, criss-crossing all around the world, touching upon every living thing. Take control of your life TODAY to successfully achieve your set goals for each individual’s successful path will increase the world's success tomorrow!

I used to have to deal with gigantic egos in the entertainment field. It made me look at things with a judicial viewpoint after I learned to set mine aside. :)
